2011 was a blast but 2012 will be epic.
A quick recap of the 2011 contest. As always the waves and weather cooperated. The set waves topped out at 1 foot. The mung was thick, just the way we like it. And everyone appeared to have had a good time.
Let’s have a big round of applause for Matt and Jamie at the Pump House Surf Shop in Orleans for putting up with our disorganization and doing a great job with sign-ups. They look forward to seeing everyone again next year. And bring your friends.
We also want to thank our team of T-Shirt gals Lauren Leary, Jill Crowley, Libby Malloy, Amelia Mazzola, Franny Minervini and Abby Peterson. Things go a lot smoother when they are around.

For anyone that missed it we still have a few t-shirts available.
Even though this was the first year we allowed boards of any age, I don’t recall seeing many newer boards. It was nice to see everyone bringing their old boards and share them.
Awards were presented immediately following the event up at the parking lot. Mike Houghton is suffering from a softball injury so he decided not to make the trek down to the beach.
And remember,
just beginning?
No Problem.
If these boards could take imagine the stories they could tell.
We encourage surfers of any ability to sign-up and give it a try. The contest is all about surfing, friendship, family and most of all fun.
